How do I clean my board?
Hand wash your board with warm soapy water. Wash both sides of your board every time. Then dry it with a towel. Finally store it upright to finish drying. For more information see our care instructions page.

Can I put it in the dishwasher?
No, do not put it in the dishwasher. The extreme heat and moisture in a dishwasher can damage the wood. With that, do not soak your board either. Wash your board by hand and store it upright. For more information see our care instructions page.

What do I need for maintenance?
The only extra things you will ever need is some mineral oil or wax. Once every 6 months to a year (depending on how often you sue your board) apply some mineral oil or wax. This helps preserve the board for the lifetime you use it. You can find our wax here

How do I keep if from warping?
Wash both sides every time. Then stand it upright to fully dry. Most people store it upright leaned up against their backsplash. For more maintenance information see our care instructions page.
Can I cut chicken on it?
Yes, of course you can cut chicken it. You can cut anything on it. Wood is naturally antibacterial. For any potential stains or smells see the care instructions page to remove them.
