Reducing waste is part of our standard.

Wood is a natural material, and not every board behaves exactly as expected during construction. Grain shifts, a crack may appear, or a board may settle with a warp. These boards are still fully functional and food-safe — but they don’t meet the standard we hold.

Rather than discard usable wood or send it to a landfill, we choose to keep it in use.

Reworked boards are made from the same materials and finished to the same food-safe standards. Because their behavior has already proven less predictable, they’re offered at a lower price and are not covered by our guarantee. What happens next can’t be promised.

This isn’t about lowering the bar.
It’s about respecting the material and reducing our waste output.
